Mrs. Mason's Retirement Party

A couple of weeks ago, Mrs. Lacy asked me to help her with a catering job she was doing for a friend of ours. Mrs. Mason retired from the army after 20 years of service.    And of course I said yes.

We'll start with the meat first. On the top are the turkey rolls... yea, we rolled every single one of them... and with some rosemary and grape tomatoes, it looks just lovely.

Now to the left and right is the ham. Which we just cut into pieces and garnished with cale and some grape tomatoes.

And now the Oh so yummy salads! And for me to say 'yummy' salads is sayin' a lot. Cause I am not very partial to them... A salad is not just lettuce and toppings when Mrs. Lacy makes it! :D

Ok, to the right is the Confetti Salad. And it's just got a lot of veggies in it. And I think blue cheese. Or some kind of cheese like that...

To the left is my personal favorite,  And I wish I could tell you it's name, and what is in it, but I...ummm, forgot... :D

Below, and to the left is something I've made a few times... It's a Mexican Bean Dip. And it's got black beans, corn, some kind of pepper, red onion and cilantro. It's pretty good.
And to the left is the Wild Rice and Chicken Salad.

We also did cheese, rolls and chips.

Oh, Yay! Now we get to do Dessert!

As you can see, to the left are fruit skewer thingies. Me and Mrs. Mason's wonderful daughters made those. Oh, and I simply can't forget the dip! It's whipped cream, cream cheese, and raspberry ice-cream topping.

Oh, and these cookies taste as good as they look!
And they are so easy to make!

Well, that's all the food that was there, but is sure was good! These are the decorations that were there.
