4th of July

The 4th of July. A time of having family over, having a cookout, watching fireworks explode in the sky. Maybe even traveling somewhere for a vacation.
But sometimes, when we get caught up in all the fun of having time off work or school, we forget two  things.
Number one is everyone who has died for freedom's cause. Millions of soldiers died for a cause they thought was worthy enough to die for.
And sometimes we take that for granted.
Number two is Jesus. Who bled and died for us to give us the ultimate freedom. This, too, we sometimes take for granted. HE is the reason that we have even won any war.

Half of America doesn't, or won't, believe that. That is why it is so important to teach our children the meaning of the 4th of July, and who was responsible for us having freedom.
